Welcome to High Seas Expedition: Exploring
the Mighty Love of God!
In just a few short
weeks, our church will go wild with kids
seeking fun and adventure at our High Seas
Expedition VBS! They'll be worshiping God
through songs and prayer, making Bible Point
crafts, and discovering life-changing Bible
truths in fun and memorable ways.
Mark your calendar now: August 2-6, 2010!
To have the best
adventure possible, we need lots of
volunteers who can give some time, energy,
and love to the kids who will attend. So let
me share a few ideas about ways you might be
able to make this program a success. Please
check out the following list, and then pray
about where God might use you. Then follow
the weblink below to our VBS website where
you can register for any of volunteer
roles. Check back often for updates!
Station
Leaders: Use easy-to-follow station
leader packs and prepare one 20-minute
session each day, which you will repeat
with four different groups of
approximately 20 kids. We need leaders
for the following stations:
· crafts and missions
· games
· video adventure and
discussion
· snacks
· hands-on Bible
discovery
· preschool director
Crew Leaders:
Shepherd a small group of elementary
children through each day's activities...and
there's no preparation!
Assistant Crew
Leaders: Students in 6th - 12th
grades are invited to be assistant crew
leaders to help shepherd a small group
of elementary children through each
day's activities!
Crew Leaders for
preschoolers: Be a friend and helper to
a group of five preschool children...again,
no preparation required!

anyone who's dramatically and/or
musically inclined! Whatever your gifts,
abilities, and time commitment, we've got a
place for you!
