Facilities Master Plan

St. Michael Lutheran Church adopted a Facilities Master Plan developed by HuffMorris Architects in September 2007 on a vote of 115 to 58 with 2 abstentions.  Once implemented, the plan will transform our congregation into a 21st Century Church.

The Master Plan sets priorities for our ministry and guides us in our building plans.  The Master Plan does not authorize any specific construction project.  Financing and specific architectural plans still need to be developed and approved before any construction begins.

The plan presents improvements to our facility that would cost approximately $2.6 million. These upgrades are necessary in order to modernize our facilities, create community, and improve the safety and efficiency of our staff.  Because of the financial challenges, the plan is currently presented in two phases.
